Irish police were perplexed at a repeat driving offence offender that was constantly escaping justice. Prawo Jazdy was cited on 50 driving offenses but each time at a different address. It wasn’t until an officer noticed that the name means driver’s license in Polish that the coin dropped. It seemed that the charging officers were seeing the words printed on the top of the Polish license and thinking that was the name of the driver.
And they wonder where all those Irish jokes come from.
